How to cancel a SCOUT subscription and how refunds work.

How to Cancel
SCOUT billing is managed through Whop. You can cancel your SCOUT subscription at any time from Settings > Manage in Whop, or by emailing trenton@yourfirstscholarship.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access until that date. After cancelling in Whop, return to SCOUT Settings and refresh your subscription status. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
Refund Policy
SCOUT subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Because SCOUT delivers immediate access to a proprietary database of college coach contact information, all sales are considered final at the time of purchase or renewal. We do, however, review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. If you believe your situation warrants a refund — for example, an accidental duplicate charge, technical issues that prevented use, or a billing error — please contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review your request in good faith.
Refunds, when issued, are processed to your original payment method within 2–3 business days of approval. The time it takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer or bank.
Lifetime Founders Plan
The Lifetime Founders plan is a one-time purchase intended as a permanent, limited-availability offer. Because of its founders-tier pricing and limited spots, the Lifetime Founders plan is non-refundable. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for documented billing errors or duplicate charges — reach out within 30 days of purchase if you believe such an error has occurred.
Subscription Renewals
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate. We will notify you of any rate changes by email before they take effect. You can cancel future renewals at any time without penalty — see “How to Cancel” above.
Account & Data Deletion
Cancelling your subscription ends future billing but does not automatically delete your account or data. To request full account and data deletion, email trenton@yourfirstscholarship.com with the email address on your account. We process deletion requests within 30 days. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved within one business day. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your SCOUT account pending resolution.
